Bouchons Bistro in Kelowna

Butter lettuce mimosa salad at Bouchons Bistro on Sunset Drive. Our Anniversary re-do dinner and everything about it was fabulous even though we had a third wheel with us.

Crab and scallop ravioli on a lobster sauce.

Beef tenderloin on a cognac and wild mushroom sauce and veggies.

The fabulous wine we had: a bit of barnyard and fruit. 2003 was apparently a fantastically sunny year.

Vanilla cake with bittersweet chocolate ganache. A very dense and moist cake.

Milk

Organic milk - buy it; it tastes better.

It costs a little more, or depending on where you buy it a lot more, but it absolutely tastes much better than regular non-organic milk. We have seen organic milk as expensive as $8+ for a 2 litre jug and as cheap as $4+ for the same size. Shop around, its worth it.
